EPA chief announces withdraw from Clean Power Plan

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt traveled to Hazard, Kentucky on Monday to announce his plans to end an Obama-era regulation long denounced in the commonwealth by elected officials. Pruitt, flanked by state Sen. Brandon Smith and U.S. Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he would sign a regulation on Tuesday effectively ending the Obama-era Clean Power Plan. “It’s good for eastern Kentucky to hear that right?
