Edelen, Jones launch New Kentucky Project to "bring new energy" to Frankfort

Former State Auditor Adam Edelen and Kentucky Sports Radio host Matt Jones have teamed up to launch the New Kentucky Project, a movement they hope will change the political machine in the Commonwealth and get more Kentuckians involved in state and local politics.
Edelen and Jones sat down together with Pure Politics’ Nick Storm to discuss why they say they saw a need for the project and how it will work.
Both Edelen and Jones lean left in their personal political views, but they told Pure Politics that the New Kentucky Project isn’t about taking up any one political party’s ideology. Rather, the effort is about empowering people at a community level.
Both Edelen and Jones admit they’re an unlikely pair when it comes to joining forces. But they also say the relationship made sense because they each share a common goal.
