Comparing the polling with this week's Mason-Dixon and Rasmussen surveys

Two polls this week show Republican U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul leading Democratic candidate Jack Conway by five points. Both the Mason-Dixon poll on behalf of the Lexington Herald-Leader, WKYT and WAVE and the Rasmussen Reports polls had Paul ahead but still below the 50% threshold.
