In addition to an already scheduled fundraiser in Frankfort, the Clinton campaign is announcing Chelsea Clinton will campaign for her mother in Lexington on Friday.

Clinton is scheduled to host an organizing event in Lexington at a field office for the campaign ahead of the presidential primary in Kentucky. The Clinton campaign says she will join supporters and volunteers to open the Hillary for Kentucky Lexington office at 10:15 a.m.

A spokesperson for the Clinton campaign in Kentucky says Chelsea will talk about how “her mom is the best candidate to break down the barriers holding families back and raise incomes for Kentucky families.” Clinton is expected to urge supporters and volunteers to sign up and get involved in the campaign ahead of the Kentucky Democratic primary May 17.

The event will be held at the Hillary for Kentucky Lexington Office, 1301 Winchester Road suite 37 in Lexington and is open to the public, according to a press release. Members of the public interested in attending this event have been encouraged to RSVP.

Clinton will also headline a fundraiser in Frankfort with former Lt. Gov. Crit Luallen on Friday afternoon in Frankfort. She will meet with invited guests at an event hosted by Luallen and Jennifer Moore, the former chairwoman of the Kentucky Democratic Party and board chair of Emerge Kentucky Democratic women’s group.
