Budget, tax bill tweaks pass General Assembly

FRANKFORT- As the clock is ticking before sine die, the Senate Appropriation and Revenue committee approved two committee substitutes cleaning up language in the budget and revenue bills. House Bill 265 SCS1, cleans up the language from House Bill 200. It does various things, including shifting $7 million to school districts who have been adversely affected by the loss in unmined minerals tax.
