Beyond the Poverty: How one Owsley Co. organization is working to improve the county

BOONEVILLE— Just about everyone who lives in Owsley County knows, first hand, the issues that face the eastern Kentucky county. The problems have been well documented in stories which have been done by news organizations all around the country.
The one thing that most haven’t heard about are citizens in the county who are looking to change the culture and provide ways for Owsley Countians to lead more productive, and, in general, better lives.
