Beshear on bourbon tasting: I'm going to make that happen

(WITH VIDEO) LOUISVILLE — Gov. Steve Beshear said Monday he’s still considering options, such as issuing an executive order, to allow bourbon tasting at this fall’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games but declared, “one way or the other, I’m going to make that happen.”
When Beshear called the General Assembly back to Frankfort last month for a special session to pass the budget, he also asked them to pass a bill to allow Kentucky’s bourbon distillers to hand out free samples at the games at the Kentucky Horse Park. But the bill collapsed in the House after key Democrats couldn’t agree on the scope of the legislation and whether it needed to have an expiration date.
