Barr releases first attack ad against McGrath

LEXINGTON- U.S. Representative Andy Barr, R-Lexington, has released his first attack ad against opponent Amy McGrath.

The ad paints the former fighter pilot as “too liberal” for the sixth congressional district and uses clips of McGrath from various interviews and speeches.

It is the second ad released by Barr.

The race between Andy Barr and McGrath is tight, with Sabato’s Crystal Ball and Cook Political Report listing the race as a toss-up.

The race is not tight, it’s not even close. Every internal poll that Andy has shows him training in double digits (these are not polls done by Amy…they are internal polls that Andy had done). Why else is he coming out with an attack ad? He’s in serious trouble and he knows it. Y’all better get used to saying, “Congresswoman McGrath.”

Yeppers Andy is two for two with lousy ads.

Hilarious. Barr’s ad makes McGrath look great. Is it really an “attack ad?” I think it will get her even more votes.

She says she is pro choice. That means it is none of her business what someone else does if it is legal. She does NOT say she is pro abortion; as the ad says. Andy’s first ‘‘lie’‘ of the campaign? Barr has been in Congress 6 years and he has not done ONE thing to make abortion illegal. That means Barr is pro abortion; right?
