After a four-month engagement, state Auditor Adam Edelen and Melissa Narramore quietly tied the knot on Nov. 19 at a private ceremony at their Fayette County home, a spokeswoman confirmed to Pure Politics.
Edelen and Narramore, an account manager at the biotechnology firm Dendreon Corp., received their marriage license on Nov. 28 in Fayette County.
The two held a ceremony attended by one other couple and the minister who officiated it, said Stephenie Steitzer, spokeswoman for the auditor’s office.
Edelen’s biography page on the auditor’s webpage was recently updated to reflect the change in status:
Adam, his wife, Melissa, and his young twin sons make their home in Lexington. He also is an avid sportsman who loves Kentucky’s one-of-a-kind natural beauty.
It is the second marriage for both.
