38th Dist. House candidates face off on Pure Politics

Republican Rep. Denny Butler and Democratic newcomer McKenzie Cantrell met on Monday to debate the issues on cn|2.
Butler and Cantrell are vying to represent the south Louisville district as the GOP makes another attempt at taking control of the last Democratically controlled chamber in the south.
The candidates weighed in on questions of crime and safety, penal code reforms and public pensions during the broadcast. Watch the video below for the full in-studio debate.
Butler and Cantrell also took part in a web exclusive continuation of the debate where they discussed: education, transgender bathroom bill, marijuana and who they’re supporting in the presidential election.
