X-Treme Team making dreams come true in Powell County

01/31/2017 06:02 PM

Today is the first day of our county connection series, where we highlight different counties throughout the state of Kentucky and recognize the important role each county plays in what defines Kentucky. We are starting with Powell County.

KSTV’s Bradley McKee ventured out to Powell County, where he talked with Tim Marcum, the coach of the X-Treme team. The X-Treme team is a group of 27 boys from preschool to sixth grade that performs basketball tricks at halftimes of games. Marcum’s goal is to help give these young boys the opportunity to build positive memories.
