Wildcats get two runs after rain delay to take win in Bluegrass Battle

Just minutes after the end of a 54-minute rain delay, the No. 11 Kentucky softball team scored two runs in the top of the seventh, securing a 2-1 victory over the Louisville Cardinals.
Kelsey Nunley threw a complete game winner, holding the potent Louisville offense to just one run on four hits all night. The night gives Nunley at 19-5 overall record.
Kentucky now sits at 40-11 overall and returns to action for Senior Day on Friday, May 7 against Mississippi State.
