Wiggins To Visit UK February 27

02/12/2013 09:30 AM

Andrew Wiggins, the nation’s top overall recruit, will visit Lexington officially on February 27, when the Cats take on Mississippi State at Rupp Arena, according to Evan Daniels of Fox Sports. The trip will be part of a three-school tour in which Wiggins will also visit North Carolina and Kansas. Wiggins previously visited Florida State, the fourth school on his list.

The 6’8” Canadian small forward reclassified to 2013 in October but has kept his recruitment very private. Many believe that Florida State and Kentucky are the favorites to land the services of the Huntington Prep (W.V.) star and a decision will not come until the spring.

Be sure to watch KSTV on Wednesday as Evan Daniels discusses where Wiggins is in his recruitment and the chances that he wears blue and white next season.
