The Kentucky basketball team advanced to the finals of the SEC Tournament on Saturday, beating Alabama 86-63 in St. Louis. The Cats had a battle on their hands for most of the first half, before blowing things open and walking away with 23-point win. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kevin Knox and PJ Washington all scored in double-figures for Kentucky, but the star of the game was sophomore forward Wenyen Gabriel.

Gabriel came off of the bench to knock down all seven of his three-pointers, an SEC Tournament record, and finish with 23 points, 2 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Gabriel was all smiles in the locker room after the game:

Sophomore big man Sacha Killeya-Jones came off the bench to give Kentucky 16 good minutes, with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks.

After the game, his teammates praised his effort and commitment to his role.
