Watch UK's women's soccer team win NCAA tournament game in shootout

In their first game ever as a seeded NCAA Tournament team, the UK women’s soccer team used a 4-2 shootout to advance. The Wildcats finished regulation tied at 0-0 with Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, despite a couple of close calls. One goal was called back because of offsides and another shot was stopped right on the goal line, coming centimeters from putting the Cats on the board.

Head coach Jon Lipsitz said afterwards that he was proud of his team and the way they never panicked when things weren’t going their way.
