UK junior quarterback Jalen Whitlow will transfer, according to UK head coach Mark Stoops. Last year, Whitlow started 8 games for UK and completed 61.6% of his passes for 1,033 yards. Whitlow also rushed for 457 yards and scored 11 total touchdowns. In two years at UK, he started 15 games at quarterback. UK was 2-13 in those games.

In a press release, Stoops thanked Whitlow for his contributions to the team during his time at UK, saying, “We respect Jalen and his decision as we want the best for him. I want everyone to understand how hard he has worked and the effort he has given since our staff has been here.”

Whitlow added, “I appreciate the University of Kentucky and what the coaching staff and administration have done for me. I also thatnk the community and the fan support I have received here. I wish the coaches and my teammates the best of luck.”
