The UK basketball team could not have looked more different Wednesday night from the team that was dismantled by Tennessee over the weekend. The Cats played efficient basketball in from of a loud Rupp Arena crowd, shooting 52% from the field and committing only 7 turnovers.

Freshman Willie Cauley-Stein led the way with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks, while Archie Goodwin added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Sophomore point guard Ryan Harrow, who was back in the starting lineup, along with Alex Poythress, scored 12 points to go with 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

The Cats will now face Missouri Saturday at Rupp Arena as they try to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive. Be sure to check out KSTV Thursday as we break down the win over the Commodores and check in with ESPN’s Andy Katz.
