UK Pounds Penn State, Moves On To Face Old Dominion

After spending all day Friday touring ESPN, you couldn’t blame UK’s young team had they come out flat against Penn State in the Hall Of Fame Tipoff Tournament. But that Cats looked anything but distracted as they blasted the previously undefeated Nittany Lions, 85-47, in Uncasville, Conn.

Sophomore Doron Lamb – again in the starting lineup – led the team with 26 points, while freshman Kyle Wiltjer added 19 points off the bench. Terrence Jones contributed 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists, while freshman star Anthony Davis scored only three minutes and senior Darius Miller was held scoreless in 24 minutes.

The Cats now move on to face Old Dominion Sunday at noon on ESPNU.
