UK, North Carolina Renew Series

01/28/2013 09:03 AM

After a one-year hiatus, the UK basketball team will renew its series with North Carolina. The two teams played every season between 2000 and 2011, including in the 2011 Elite Eight before discontinuing the series before this season. The agreement says that the Cats will travel to Chapel Hill next season with the Tar Heels returning to Lexington during the 2014-15 season.

UK has a 13-22 all-time record against the Tar Heels, but was 7-6 in the annual series between 2000 and 2011.
