UK HOOPS | Opens the NCAA Women's Tournament in dominant fashion

The third seeded Kentucky Women might have a home court advantage, but the way they were today, they could have played on the moon and it would not have made much difference.
Makayla Epps had a game high 24 points, along with five assists, as Kentucky just blew out UNC-Asheville at Memorial Coliseum, 85-31. Four Wildcats scored in double figures as UK never trailed in the game.
Kentucky moves onto the second round, and will face sixth seeded Oklahoma. The Lady Sooners eliminated Purdue 61-45. The game will be played on Monday but the tip off time won’t be decided until later tonight or early tomorrow. The winner of the game advances to the Lexington Region Sweet 16, meaning if UK wins, they remain at home, and simply shift locations, from Memorial Coliseum, to Rupp Arena.
