UK Hoops demolishes Wright State 106-60

UK Hoops started off the women’s NCAA tournament with a bang, routing Wright State 106-60. Using home court advantage to the fullest extent, Jennifer O’Neill led all scorers with 21 points. A total of seven Wildcats scored double digits for UK. Samarie Walker had her ninth double-double of the season by halftime, and she ended the game with 12 points and 14 rebounds. UK Hoops held No. 14 Wright State to just 23 percent shooting while the Wildcats banked 55 percent of their shots.

The Wildcats will face the winner of No. 11 Chattanooga and No. Syracuse on Monday night in Lexington.
