UK Hoops' Batouly Camara to transfer from program

UK Hoops has confirmed it is parting ways with freshman forward Batouly Camara. Camara has elected to transfer from the basketball program after just one season.

During her time at UK, Camara averaged 5 points per game and 4 rebounds. She is the sixth player to leave the UK Hoops program this season.

This past fall, junior forward Kyvin Goodin-Rogers chose to leave UK and transfer to Western Kentucky University. Chrishae Rowe and starting guard Linnae Harper were also among the first to leave the program. Rowe was dismissed by Head Coach Matthew Mitchell. Goodin-Rogers, Harper and Rowe were followed by Morgan Rich, who chose to leave and join the University of Oklahoma basketball program. Finally, in late March, senior Ivana Jakubcova announced she would be transferring for her final year of eligibility.
