LEXINGTON — Expectations are running high in Lexington for the University of Kentucky football team.

Big Blue Nation is already expecting a good season from the Wildcats, but the SEC Network is even more optimistic about UK’s chances in 2015.

The station’s football experts broke down Kentucky’s 2015 schedule and picked the Wildcats to go 8-4 this season.

Yes, 8-4!!!

The only games UK was picked to lose where its four against top-25 opponents: at home against No. 6 Auburn (Oct. 15), No. 24 Missouri (Sept. 26), and No. 25 Tennessee (Oct. 31), and on the road at No. 6 Georgia (Nov. 7).

As if that wasn’t enough, the SEC Network also predicted Kentucky will beat rival Louisville in the season finale (Nov. 28) and “absolutely” defeat Florida at home on September 19th — the Cats’ first victory over the Gators in 28 years.
