UK Football Embarrassed Again

11/03/2012 02:55 PM

The UK football team suffered – and that may be the most accurate word – their eighth straight defeat Saturday, 40-0 to Vanderbilt. It was Vandy’s first SEC shutout since beating the Cats 6-0 in 1969.

After the game, the conversation again turned to the job security of head coach Joker Phillips. Phillips reiterated that his team will not quit with three remaining games but said that if a decision has been made regarding his future, it’s better that it be announced now. However, Phillips says that he does not believe that decision has been made yet.

Make sure you watch KSTV Monday for a full recap, as well as a preview of Monday night’s game against Transy.
