UK FOOTBALL | Cats Land Two Tight End Signees

During the early college football signing day period, Kentucky Football landed 20 signees. Among them, two tight ends.

Keaton Upshaw is a three-star tight end from Lima, Ohio. The 6’7”, 225 pound senior ranks no. 32 for all the 2018 tight ends and 29th of all the players in the state of Ohio according to 24/7 sports.

He chose UK over Louisville, Purdue, Pitt, West Virginia and others.

Another tight end singing to the Cats: three-star Brendan Bates. Bates is a six-five 230 pound guy out of Archbishop Moeller in Cincinnati, Ohio. According to 24/7 Sports, he’s the number 24 tight end in the class and the number 24 player out of Ohio.

He picked the Cats over Louisville, Iowa, Vanderbilt, Pittsburgh and others.

Recruiting Coordinator Vince Marrow was pleased with their tight end pick-ups.
