UK BASKETBALL | Wildcats Lead Country in Average Home Attendance... Again

Big Blue Nation has proven once again it is arguably the best fan base in college basketball.

The Kentucky men’s basketball team had the highest average home attendance during the 2016-2017 season.

UK averaged 23,461 fans per home game, according to figures released by the NCAA on Tuesday.

Syracuse was second on the list, averaging 21,181 fans per home game, while Louisville was third on the list, averaging 20,846 fans per home game.

It is the 19th time in the last 22 seasons that UK has led the country in average home attendance.

Overall, 398,850 fans attended men’s basketball games in Rupp Arena during the 2016-2017 season.
