LEXINGTON — After securing the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation last week, John Calipari and the University of Kentucky basketball team added two walk-ons to their 2015-16 roster on Monday.

Johnny David and Dillion Pulliam are the newest Wildcats, increasing UK’s roster to 14 players for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

David is freshman guard from Mt. Lebanon High School in Pennsylvania. The 6-2 sharpshooter averaged 18.5 points per game as a senior last year, earning All-State honors while leading Mt. Lebanon to a sectional championship.

Pulliam arrives in Lexington via transfer from Transylvania University in Lexington. The 6-3 sophomore guard played in 25 games for the pioneers last season, averaging 4.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Per NCAA transfer rules, Pulliam will have to sit out the 2015-16 season and will become eligible to play for Kentucky starting in the fall of 2016.
