Following Thursday night’s NBA Draft, it was reported that undrafted Alex Poythress will join the Orlando Magic Summer League in an effort to nab a spot in the NBA.

The former Kentucky forward, who returned from an ACL injury in 2014-15, appeared in 31 games last season with 23 starts. He finished his career with 966 points, 597 rebounds and 77 blocks — the 12th player in program history with at least 900 points, 500 rebounds and 70 blocks.

Three of Poythress’ former teammates were selected in the draft. Jamal Murray and Skal Labissiere were picked in the opening round. Meanwhile, Tyler Ulis will join four Wildcats in Phoenix after being selected 34th overall in the second round.
