06/06/2016 05:37 PM

Kentucky basketball is welcoming their new freshman to campus this week as they will take classes throughout the summer. The final recruiting rankings are in and UK is the number one overall class for next year. This is Coach Cal’s sixth number one recruiting class at UK, led by the sixth ranked player in the class, De’Aaron Fox. Fox is a tall guard, standing at 6’ 4” and weighing 170 pounds. He averaged 25.4 points, 3.7 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game during his career at Cypress Lakes High School in Katy, TX. Fox’s backup will be senior Dominique Hawkins, who is looking to expand his role in his last season. Hawkins averaged 2.3 points per game last season.

KSTV took a look at the point guard position for next year and discussed what to expect from both Fox and Hawkins.
