Briscoe averaged 19.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists last week in games against Illinois State and UCLA. The 6-foot-3 guard from Union, N.J., also posted back-to-back career highs in points in both contests, scoring 18 against the Redbirds before dropping 20 more on UCLA.
Entering a new week, Briscoe is now second on the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game while also securing 5.7 rebounds per game — good for third best among the Wildcats.
Kentucky has now received three SEC awards through the first four weeks of the season. Skal Labissiere also claimed Freshman of the Week honors on Nov. 16, and Tyler Ulis was named SEC Player of the Week on Nov. 23.
