UK Basketball | Four 2017 commitments named McDonald's All-Americans

01/15/2017 10:58 PM

Four future Kentucky Wildcats will play in the 2017 McDonald’s All-American game.

Power forward PJ Washington, point guard Quade Green, center Nick Richards and forward Jarred Vanderbilt were all awarded the prestigious honor and will all be playing on the East Team.

Kentucky has the most participants in the game. Duke and UCLA were tied for the second most, each having two players selected.

John Calipari now has 29 McDonald’s All-Americans in his nine seasons at Kentucky and he could still add a few more. Mohamed Bamba, Kevin Knox and Trae Young (all uncommitted and still considering Kentucky) were also selected as All-Americans.

You can catch the four future Cats in the McDonald’s All-American game on March 29 at the United Center in Chicago.
