If you can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.
Kentucky commit Isaiah Briscoe and Louisville commit Donovan Mitchell have yet to start their collegiate careers, but they’re already fueling the heated Cats vs. Cards rivalry online.
Both players got into a trash talk battle on Instagram on Monday night, taking shots at each other ahead of the 2015 season.
The beef started when Mitchell, a four-star shooting guard, posted a video on Instagram of Briscoe stopping an interview to ask a camerman, “What’s an adjective?”
The future Cardinal later deleted the clip, but other users quickly shared it.

To be fair, that looked pretty bad for Briscoe, the same five-star player who claimed during his recruitment that he picked Kentucky over other schools because Derrick Rose went there …
But Briscoe fired back, first sharing a photo of Mitchell and his “corny” high school backcourt.
And saving the best for last, Briscoe finished with this roasting of one of Mitchell’s sweet “sweatsuit” outfits.
All three original posts — along with others — from the future rivals’ shade war are now deleted, but well-timed screenshots and retweets have saved them for perpetuity.
Thank goodness for social media.
