Tucker's Commitment Pushes UK's Class Into Top 10

05/29/2013 02:55 PM

Georgia safety Jared Tucker committed to Kentucky today, picking the Cats over offers from Florida, Ohio State, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Louisville and Mississippi State. The three-star prospect was on campus for his second visit today when he told the UK staff that he planned to be a Wildcat in 2014.

Tucker’s commitment gives Kentucky nine players in their 2014 class and the group now ranks 10th nationally, just ahead of defending national champion Alabama, according to Rivals.com. It’s the first time the school has ever reached the top ten in the recruiting service’s rankings.
