Trey Lyles showing he's ready to step up in Utah

Trey Lyles is performing at an elite level this summer. He started off by averaging 20.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game last week in the Utah Jazz Summer League. Think that’s good? Well just read this stat line from his play in the Vegas Summer League. Lyles, through two games in the Las Vegas Summer League, is averaging 29 points and 7 rebounds per game. Lyles scored 30 points last night against the Portland Trail Blazers, including a game-tying buzzer beater tip-in at the buzzer to force a second overtime.

Lyles averaged 6.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game during his rookie season in 2015.
