Top-ranked player set to choose between Kentucky, Duke

News broke Thursday morning that Harry Giles, ranked as the nation’s top high school basketball player, suffered a partial tear in his ACL. Giles previously suffered a torn ACL in his other knee two years ago before coming back strong and asserting himself as the top prep prospect in the country.
Now, as Giles begins his rehab, he’ll do so with his college decision locked up. Giles will select his school on ESPN’s Sportscenter Friday at noon eastern, choosing between Duke and Kentucky. The Blue Devils are still believed to be the favorites, but the Cats have made up significant ground in the last few weeks, according to Scout.com’s Evan Daniels.
