LEXINGTON — Kentucky Football’s 2016 recruiting class just keeps getting better and better.
Tate Leavitt — the top-rated junior college offensive lineman in the nation — committed to Mark Stoops and the Wildcats on Saturday during a visit to Lexington, bolstering what was already considered to be makings of the most talented offensive line in program history.

One decision can change your life & I believe this is beyond a 2 year decision! #BBN thank you for the support & I can't wait till January!— Tate Leavitt (@TL_ANEWLEVEL_65) July 19, 2015
The 6-foot-6, 310-pound tackle attends Hutchinson College in Kansas and is listed as a four-star prospect on Rivals.com.
Hailing from Thornville, Ohio, Leavitt selected UK over Oklahoma, Illinois, Missouri and Texas Tech with perennial powerhouse programs Alabama, Auburn, Nebraska, TCU, and even Commonwealth rival Louisville also courting him throughout the recruitment process.
Leavitt is now the 20th commitment of Kentucky’s 2016 class and joins an already loaded group of offensive linemen that includes Kentucky high school Army All-Americans Landon Young and Drake Jackson and former high school All-American Marcelys Jones, who announced his transfer to UK in June and will be eligible in time for the 2016 season.
