Three Cats Earn All-SEC Honors

UK freshman Julius Randle was named to the All-SEC First Team today after averaging 15.4 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this season. Randle also became the 6th Kentucky player in the last seven years to be named as the SEC Freshman of the Year, joining Patrick Patterson, DeMarcus Cousins, Terrence Jones, Anthony Davis and Nerlens Noel.

Also, freshman forward James Young was selected for the All-SEC Second Team after averaging 14.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Sophomore Willie Cauley-Stein was also named to the All-SEC Defensive team after averaging 2.8 blocks per game.
