There will be no rematch of the 1966 championship game

Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1966 national championship game between Kentucky and Texas Western, who famously started an all African-American lineup. To celebrate the anniversary, reports said the two teams would meet again at the site of the original matchup. Now, Miners coach Tim Floyd says UK backed out and he’s not happy about it. John Calipari explained why.
