The streak continues as Kentucky falls at Florida, 45-7

Kentucky’s losing streak against Florida continues after an embarrassing 45-7 loss in Gainesville on Saturday.

The first possession for the Cats was a quick 3 and out, putting the defense in a tough position. The defense stayed on the field for most of the first half and it was downhill from that point forward. After remaining scoreless until the 4th quarter, Jojo Kemp ran the Old Wildcat for a 2-yard touchdown with 4:27 remaining. It would be Kentucky’s only touchdown.

With the Cats beginning the season 0-2 and every player mentally checking out, what’s next for the UK football program and head coach Mark Stoops? How does the team bounce back from two straight disappointing losses? Kentucky returns to action next Saturday against New Mexico State at Commonwealth Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET
