Terrence Jones, Patrick Patterson Could Be Headed To Orlando

The joining of three former Wildcats in Houston could be over before they even take the floor together.

ESPN’s Chad Ford is reporting that the latest development in the neverending Dwight Howard saga involves a proposal from the Houston Rockets that would ship both Terrence Jones and Patrick Patterson to Orlando, while also making it likely that Josh Harrellson would be waived.

According to Ford, the Rockets would send Patterson, Kevin Martin, Marcus Morris and Chandler Parsons, along with the draft rights to Jones, Royce White and Jeremy Lamb to Orlando for Howard. In addition to receiving the three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Houston would also get three players among the Quentin Richardson, Glen Davis, Chris Duhon, Hedo Turkoglu group. Absorbing those salaries would require the Rockets to waive a few players from a group that includes newly-acquired Josh Harrellson.

Ford says that no deal is imminent and the situation would most likely not be resolved for at least another week.
