2019 OL prospect Tanner Bowles discusses offer from Kentucky

Mark Stoops has been extremely busy over the last few weeks recruiting and it has paid off. Stoops is focusing on finalizing his 2017 class before the February signing period, but that doesn’t mean he’s not looking at future classes.

In fact, he’s looking way ahead—as the Wildcats offered 2019 offensive tackle Tanner Bowles from Glasgow, Kentucky last week. Bowles is a sophomore at Glasgow High School. He stands tall at 6’ 5” and weighs 280 pounds.

Kentucky is the first offer for Bowles, but they certainly won’t be the last. The sophomore is also drawing interest from Louisville, where his brother Hunter played. His dad played baseball at Kentucky, so he has connections at both school.

We caught up with Bowles about his recruitment and what it meant to him to receive an offer.
