Takeaways from Kentucky's 49-36 loss to Tennessee

The Kentucky Wildcats missed out on their second straight chance to clinch bowl eligibility on Saturday when they lost to Tennessee 49-36. Kentucky rushed for 443 yards and scored four touchdowns on the ground, but both the passing game and the defense were non-existent throughout most of the game.

The defense allowed Tennessee’s offense to have 599 total yards. Senior QB Josh Dobbs had a big chunk of that yardage, compiling 370 total yards and five touchdowns, three passing and two rushing.

The offense showed life but the defense seemed flat and just outmanned. How concerned should Kentucky fans be about the defense following Saturday’s loss? TJ and Bradley discuss.
