LEXINGTON — An already loaded roster for the Kentucky Wildcats just got even more talented.
Tai Wynyard — a four-star power forward from Auckland, New Zealand — announced on Twitter on Sunday afternoon he has officially enrolled early for spring semester and is eligible to play for the Wildcats this season:

The 6-foot-10, 263-pound international prospect verbally committed to Kentucky over Texas and Villanova last January and was originally a member of UK’s 2016 recruiting class. He’ll enroll in December and be eligible to play the second half of this season but could also redshirt until next fall.
Wynyard is the fifth foreign addition to Kentucky’s 2015-16 roster, joining fellow freshmen Skal Labissiere (Haiti), Jamal Murray (Canada), Isaac Humphries (Australia), and junior college transfer Mychal Mulder (Canada).
Despite being just 17 years old, Wynyard received MVP honors for the World Select Team at the Nike Hoop Summit in April and led New Zealand to a gold medal at the 3-on-3 World Championships in Hungary in June.
