Records are meant to be broken, or in some cases, at least tied.
Five Kentucky Wildcats were selected in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft — a record for one school in one year.
This year’s batch of departing Cats could top that number by two, with seven players leaving school early to jump to the pros.
Currently, a record-tying five are projected to be first-round picks: Karl-Anthony Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein, Devin Booker, Trey Lyles, and Dakari Johnson.
Aaron and Andrew Harrison are both slated to go in the second round, for the moment.
The KSTV crew dissected the games of all seven to pinpoint where each can improve to boost his draft stock and — down the road — to secure a successful NBA career.
