Should Bam Adebayo stay for his sophomore year?

ESPN draft expert Chad Ford released his NBA draft stock watch list earlier this week. While he has Malik Monk and De’Aaron Fox high on his board, he thinks that Bam Adebayo’s stock has fallen.

“That inconsistency is what scares scouts and cooled the momentum he built the previous month,” said Ford. “I still think he goes somewhere between Nos. 15 and 25 if he decides to declare for the draft. But if he stays another year and works on his perimeter game and consistency, he has the physical tools of a top-10 pick in what should be a significantly weaker draft in 2018.”

Adebayo struggled against UCLA in the Sweet 16, scoring just two points and grabbing four rebounds. He got off to a slow start against UNC in the Elite Eight, but played better as the game went on, finishing with 13 points and seven rebounds.

Adebayo averaged 13 points and eight rebounds this season. He was named to the All-SEC second team and All-Freshman team. Should Bam stay for his sophomore season or still head to the NBA this year? TJ Beisner and Bradley McKee discuss.
