BROOKLYN, NY — Dreams don’t come true only during the first round of the NBA Draft.
After watching a record four of their Kentucky teammates picked during the lottery, former Wildcats Andrew Harrison and Dakari Johnson waited until the second round to hear their names called during the 2015 NBA Draft on Thursday night in New York City.
Andrew went No. 44 overall to the Phoenix Suns before ultimately being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, and Johnson followed soon after, going No. 48 overall to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
KSTV discussed Kentucky’s two second-round picks on Friday’s show, explaining why both Andrew and Dakari have great opportunities to establish long and successful NBA careers.
