SEC switching to three permanent basketball opponents instead of just one

This past season marked the first time since 1952-53 that Kentucky didn’t play a regular-season game at Tennessee. But with changes announced by SEC commissioner Mike Slive, that could soon be changing.
The commissioner said Tuesday that each team’s conference schedule will now feature three permanent opponents each season. By permanent opponents, he means teams that will be played both home and away each year. For UK, that team has been Florida. But by adding two more to the fray, the Vols could be back on board.
KSTV discussed which schools UK should aim to lock-in each season.
