Running backs look to be a strength for UK football in 2014

The Blue/White spring game was a coming out party of sorts for the UK running backs. Jojo Kemp, Braylen Heard, Josh Clemons and Mikel Horton combined for 316 yards on 42 carries and added four touchdowns.
So far, the coaches haven’t named a starter at the position. But unlike at quarterback where you need one player to step up and be “the guy,” the Cats will happily lean on a talented stable of options in the backfield. Head coach Mark Stoops commented on the importance of that depth following the game.
