Romeo Langford looking forward to U19 Team USA tryouts

John Calipari is getting prepared to coach Team USA’s U-19 team, starting in just a few days in Colorado Springs. Twenty Eight players are trying out for the team from June 18 to the 25th, with the 12 man team expected to be named on June 22nd. The team will play in the FIBA World Cup in Cairo, Egypt from July first through the ninth.

One of Calipari’s biggest targets will be there – shooting guard Romeo Langford from New Albany, Indiana. Langford is the the number one shooting guard and the number five player overall in the 2018 class, according to Scout.com.

He sat down with us to discuss the upcoming tryouts and his recruitment.
