Rockets Assign Terrence Jones To D-League

11/30/2012 09:05 AM

Former Wildcat Terrence Jones has been assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA’s D-League today by the Houston Rockets. The goal is that Jones, who is averaging about 3 points and 2 rebounds per game, will get more time on the court. So far this season, the rookie has logged 10.4 minutes per game for a team that has an abundance of forwards.

Jones’ status for tonight’s game against the Tulsa Drillers, featuring DeAndre Liggins and Daniel Orton, is uncertain.
